"Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly and made our experience superb. Felt safe at all times and saw plenty of animals and birds." - Chris Warhurst
What to bring
Dress completely informal. Neutral colors are recommended. (The curio shop has a range of clothing for sale).
From November to March, bring casual summer clothes. A warm jersey/sweater is recommended for the cooler morning and evening temperatures.
From April to October, bring casual light clothing. You will need a very warm insulated or padded jacket for the cold mornings and nights. Hat, scarf and gloves would help too.
Shorts and T-shirts are needed all year round for the warm midday period – unless you want to look like a tourist!
Swimming costumes, sun hat and sunglasses are recommended.
Sandals are useful for walking around the lodge and pool area or just go barefoot!
Cameras, binoculars, video cameras, batteries and lots of memory cards are recommended. Batteries can be charged in your suite. Electricity voltage is 220v.
We are situated in a Malaria free zone so take a chill pill instead!
